Kannada Lessons : DP : A sample conversation with the vegetable vendor

A few sentences which could help in interaction with the vegetable vendor:

1) Tomato eshTu (ಟೊಮೆಟೊ ಎಷ್ಟು)
>> How much are the tomatoes?

2) hadinaidu rupaayi kilo (ಹದಿನೈದು ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಕಿಲೋ)
>> 15 rupees a kilo

3) hattu rupaayi maaDikoLLi (ಹತ್ತು ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ)
>> Make it 10 rupees

4) illa saar – eega tomato season alla… (ಇಲ್ಲ ಸಾರ್ – ಈಗ ಟೊಮೆಟೊ ಸೀಸನ್ ಅಲ್ಲ…)
>> No sir – this is not tomato season

5) illa illa bEre kaDe ella 10 rupaayi matra.(ಇಲ್ಲ ಇಲ್ಲ ಬೇರೆ ಕಡೆ ಎಲ್ಲ 10 ರುಪಾಯಿ ಮಾತ್ರ)
aadare nimma tomato chennaagide (ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಟೊಮೆಟೊ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದೆ)
>>No no, it is only 10 rupees everywhere else. But your tomatoes are good

6) aayitu 12 rupaayi koDi (ಆಯಿತು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಕೊಡಿ)
>> Ok give 12 rupees

7) aayitu eraDu kg koDi (ಆಯಿತು, ಎರಡು ಕೆಜಿ ಕೊಡಿ)
>> Ok give me 2 kgs
